Sun Position FAQs
Can I check whether a garden will get sun in winter?
Yes. In the full version, select a winter date and compare the sun’s path with nearby buildings and trees using the camera view. Repeat for a summer date to compare the seasons.
Why does the sun path point in the wrong direction?
Check the device’s compass calibration and move away from metal objects, electrical equipment and magnetic cases. The camera overlay depends on the device sensors. Follow the calibration advice in the user guide.
Why are sunrise and sunset times different from what I expect?
First check the location, selected date and displayed time zone. A time zone mismatch can shift all the displayed times even when the sun path looks correct.
